A vessel with intriguing history: when and how she arrived to Spain? She is well crafted, but today in need of some work.

This nice ketch of elegant and sweet lines, has unknown and misterious origins: we have proof that she was registered in Spain in 1942, ans she was German registered at the beginning. She was coming from a Nation at war! How did she arrive here then? Perhaps she was catched by the war when cruising? It seems most probable, but the doubt remain, as the Second World War started soon after the Spanish Civil War. And we still have the question: what was doing here this German yacht at that time? Following her papers, she was built in the Sacrow town, close to Potsdam and Berlin, on the rivers of a big lake. However, her hull lines are those of a blue water cruiser, not a lake vessel. In those German lakes there is still today a good shipbuilding activity, specialised in wooden boats. Probably she has been the object of some modernisation, as the teak deck is cork laid and her main mast is aluminium. But there are still many original features, as the f'c'sle hatch and her interior furniture of high craftmanship. She is today in good general shape, just in need of painting and varnishing work. The chain-plates area was recently repaired. Her asking price is realistic and her value will certainly improve with time.
