Otto Tiefenbach, Austrian, founded in the Sixties a Yard in France called CNSO (Nautic Builders of the South West, in French). They had a great success with a range of small cruisers: Super Dorade, Daimio and Super Daimio were among its products and were built in hundreds. In 1976 they introduced their new admiral ship, the Bigoin designed Mikad 56. It was an instant success that lasted several years. In 1982 a new elongated version was introduced, with a schooner rig. One of these units was fitted by Tiefenbach with a wing keel, after the Australia II that won the Amercia's Cup. This unit is in good general shape, She has been sailing until now and is still ready to start again. She just needs a full painting and polishing work. She is a big blue water cruiser, for a reduced price.
