The Swan 371 marked the change of Chief designer for Nautor: from Sparkman & Stephens they passed on to Ron Holland. Holland designed a vessel with deep Nautor character: A forward sweet degrading coach-roof, ample cockpit shoulders, technical deck hard-ware. At the same time, he gave to the new model a hull lines clearly influenced by the IOR, with pinced bow and stem and central main beam. However he could not (or did not want) to draw extreme lines, as Nautor had requested a new model in the traditional Nautor's way of building ocean going vessels, fine in every weather condition. 87 units were built from 1979 and 1987. This boat is in very good shape. Recently she had the teak deck joints renewed.
