Following in the footsteps of its rivals, Dufour bought the French shipyard ACM at the end of the 1990s to enter the promising sector of fishing-passenger boats. The immediate product of this purchase was the ACM 26, a boat that was proposed as a classic and traditional model (hence its name Héritage) with finishes to match. Indeed, the aesthetics are elegant and not without personality. A few details, such as the wooden trim and some of the mouldings emphasise this style. The boat is no less practical than its rivals, with a large, uncluttered cockpit, suitable for both fishing and dining, a stern platform that helps when fishing and when returning from a swim, fairly narrow side passageways and a bow with a comfortable area for sunbathing and for assisting with anchoring and manoeuvring. Internally, mahogany finishes enhance the aesthetics. The retractable side table allows a second double bed to be created with the side settees. The backrest of the bow settee tilts to become the backrest of the helmsman's seat. The galley is small, but adequate for the use of the boat. The forward cabin is very habitable, as is the washroom, which has a window for lighting and ventilation. The unit on offer is practically unused since its purchase by the current owners who, for one reason or another, never sailed with it. From the point of view of structure, engine, equipment and accessories it is as good as new because, yes, it has always been well maintained. The exterior requires a thorough cleaning and polishing of the hull, deck and cabin and the interior a thorough cleaning. This is taken into account in a reduced price and with little added expense you can practically use the boat for the first time.
