Between 1973 and 2009, Maxum was a subsidiary Company of the Brunswick group, a multinational giant, owner of other important brands as Boston Whaler, Mercury, Bayliner and more. Until its withdrawal, Maxum produced a number of runabouts and small cruisers that spot good performances, practicality of use and a certain innovation of style and lines. The SR series were also called Bow-rider, because of the opened and liveable foredeck and the 2300 SR model remained in production during more than five years, from 1995 until well into the new Millennium, only with short aesthetical improvements. The offered runabout is a first series model. The bow-rider version offers a huge liveability compared to her reduced dimensions. The Mercruiser Thunderbolt engine is a must from the point of the sturdines and easy to find spare pieces and offers exciting performances.
