The Menorquín 43 Conquistador was the Yard's workhorse at the end of the Eighties, beginning of Nineties. With that range of boats, the Astilleros Menorca conquered the primacy on the Spanish market and prepared the international success of the following range of Menorquín Yachts. The 43 palms (the traditional measuring unit for the Balearic sailing lutes) was called Conquistador and has an enclosed cabin with doghouse, a lay-out that offers tremendous living space for such a small vessel: a small cabin forward, separated by a bulk-head from the saloon. This one is full of light and ventilation and has to port the galley with a sofa and the dinette on starboard side, with seats forward and aft and a separated head. The finishing quality is high and on this unit is enhanced by a good and careful maintenance. This boat has been used parsimoniously and with care. She is kept in perfect sailing order and today she could only need a cleaning in the bilges, replacing some pipe and painting the engines.
