Barcos Singulares will represent Comar Yachts in Spain!

The new award winning C-Cat 48 from Comar Yachts: a great commercial success.

At Barcos Singulares we are very happy. We obtained the Spanish agency for the magnific range of boats built by the Italian Yard Comar Yachts.

The C-Cat 48 was awarded the title of Catamaran of the Year at the Nautic show in La Grande Motte (France).

Many years ago, our Director Leonardo García de Vincentiis was Commercial and Marketing Account of Comar Yachts and he has kept a  deep friendship since with its owner Massimo Guardigli. All this has evolved now to this nice outcome which offers to the Spanish sailors the the chance to enjoy the high performances and the quality of finishes that the Comar range has, something really outstanding in the multihull world.

The joinery quality is so high that there is no other catamaran that could blend in the same way luxury, quality and performaces.

The Admiral was sold by Barcos Singulares

The Admiral, a French registered Amel Super Maramu in very good conditions of maintenance was sold by Barcos Singulares to her new German owner.

We sold the «Seraphim»

The family Reliant/Offshore 40 from Cheoy-Lee looks as classic wooden boats. In fact, they where GRP built when boats «totally white» looked not very elegant. Yachts then should be varnished and the Seraphim keeps to this tradition, with the exception of being built with the most modern technologies of the moment. It was an age of transition of which it remain less and less memories. It is a real pleasure for us to note that in Spain we continue to keep alive the taste and the passion for classic boats: the Seraphim raised a lot of interest, curiously enough among French sailors, but she has been purchased by a Spanish passionate and very soon she will sail around the Jávea waters, in Valencia. We wish fair winds to her and to her new owner!

We sold a Najad 505

We are really satisfied at Barcos Singulares: the sale of this Najad 505 to a British couple has gone in the best way possible. Each side have been impeccable: during the first visit the owner showed the boat so passionated and in a¡such a honest way that our work was very easy. The new owners plan is to go skiing blue water and they are extremely happy with the performances of the Najad 505 and the easy to reach them. Curiously enough, this unit was built expressly for the owner of the Yard himself, the goat Bernt Ardvisson and at Barcos Singulares we sold some years ago a Najad 511 that had been also built for Bernt!

We wish to the new owners fair winds and happy sailing and we are very grateful to the previous ones.

We sold the Gobio

Barcos Singulares sold the Six Metre International «Gobio». Her new owner is a a naval carpenter from Palamós (to the North of Barcelona). He intends to restore her to her original conditions and to participate to the  class regattas so much in vogue nowadays in Spain. The Gobio was built at the Chantiers de la Hève the same year as the Aile VI, the next to last Eight Metre of Virginie Hériot and her most famous. The Aile VI was a real novelty among the drawings of Naval Architect Arbaut, the owner of Chantiers de la Hève (Le Havre, France) and it is possible that the «Gobio» incorporates the same distinctive design.

Spanish internet magazine speaks about the LA 28

The LA 28 has been again on display at the Düsseldorf Boat Show this year. She obtained there a huge success. The Spanish internet nautical magazine Nauta 360º has published a new about this wonderful vessel. You can have a look at it on this link.

Their very modern building technique artistically blends the wood with carbon fibres in structural reinforcements and for many deck hard-ware pieces, all made by the Yard itself.  We offer different models, from a small Jollenkreuzer (a cathegory of small liveable cruisers), to the LA 28 and the future 35 footer. Sold the Colen, an Int. Eight from Fife

Barcos Singulares sold the Colen, a historic Spanish Eight Metre International. Design and built by William Fife at Fairlie (Scotland) for a British resident in Santander the Colen was launched in 1925 and has always sailed in Spain since, in the Cantabric at the beginning and in the Mediterranean Sea, from 1941 circa. She is one of the few Eights of the second Formula designed and built by Fife stil sailing and was perhaps the last Eight Spanish owned. Now her happy owner will restore her to the original conditions and the Colen, named Colleen again as at the beginning, will continue her sailing career in the waters of the Principauté de Montecarlo.

 

The MARIGOLD too!!!

Barcos Singulares has sold also the Marigold! She is one of the most iconic boats of the entire fleet of classics. Her restoration marked an inflexion point, due to the exquisite adherence to the originality from materials to building techniques.  For us has been  real honor to bring to an agreement two deep connoisseurs as her previous and present owners.

We sold the Varuna!

We are very happy, at Barcos Singulares: we already sold an iconic vessel as the Varuna, one of the older 12 metre International on the circuit. She was built in fact in 1909, 105 years ago! Her teak hull is still original, as her famous dog-house that makes her stand out of the Twelves fleet as the sole being designed more cruising that racing biased. This fact proves the eclecticism of the International Formula since its beginnings. Varuna’s home port will be in Spain and she will fly the Spanish ensign.
