Leonardo García de Vincentiis – Director of the company Barcos Singulares.

He was introduced to sailing as a child on his family’s boats, became an avid sailor and finally turned his passion into a job, becoming the Sales Director at renowned shipyards, in Italy and in Spain.

The decision to get started as a broker dates back to his search for his own boat. He realised then the importance of having someone able to give proper and professional advice and that could be trusted at the moment of the final choice for the right boat.

In 2004 he founded Barcos Singulares, and he’s the happy owner of a classic boat since 1994.

Today he’s considered one of the main experts of classic sailing in Spain: he’s a founding member of the Spanish Association for Vintage and Classic Boats (AEBEC) since 2016; he’s on the Committee for Culture and Innovation of the CIM (Comité International de la Méditerranée), and an advisor for museums and nautical press.

He’s also sharing his passion for nautical history with public lectures for all audiences.
