Tieger was originally named Da-Du and was launched for Mr. Olsen, a Danish that entered with her the Olimpic Games of Amsterdam in 1928, without a good outcome. The following year, she changed owner and then is sold to Italy the same year. Since then, she has been sailing in the Italian water and owned by prominent Italian sailors as Count Giuseppe della Gherardesca, Mr. Alberto Zanoletti di Rozzano. The same year she arrived to Italy, she arrived second at the Coppa Genova behind Twins II, of the famous Oberti brothers, and again second at the Coppa Unione, behind the Dana, curiously enough owned by H.M. the King of Danemark. In 1962, she is purchased by her last owner, an Italian businessman who sailed her for 50 years, until his death in 2012. Now his heirs are selling her. She has been well kept in very original conditions and on a protected shead.
