The French shipyard Tradition Marine had a short period of production, at a time when classic-modern boats were booming and there was a passion for those old lines combined with modern hull designs. The shipyard produced two models, a 53 and a 42, of which five units were built between 2001 and 2013. The Zéphyros, as the unit on offer is called, was built with great care and many details on the deck are engraved with the name that has never changed since the time of its launch. The TM42 is an elegant sloop with very polished lines, to which the Joubert-Nivelt firm has added a powerful hull without forcing it, in order to fulfil the theme of fast and comfortable cruising, which does not alter its lines when loading the typical equipment for the programme. The interior has three spacious cabins and a good-sized bathroom. The galley and saloon also have ample space. The saloon table folds down to form a large double bed. The stowage capacity throughout the boat is greater than that of many modern boats of similar size. The woodwork finishes are very good, with truly luxurious details, such as the two toned columns that welcome those entering through the main companionway. The Zéphyros has just undergone a complete repainting of the topsides and is in excellent condition overall. Its owner often sails alone and is selling it due to a lack of family support.
