Bénéteau 393 Clipper

By introducing its new Océanis 393, Bénéteau took a very marked step forward in a sector, around 40 feet, where it had always had a very successful model (the Océanis 400, the 411, the 383 for example). The new coachroof with numerous hatches and windows was said to be stylistically reminiscent of the shipyard's models of the 1980s, which demonstrates Bénéteau's respect for and sensitivity to its past. The Océanis 393 has an enviable habitability on deck, with a cockpit of unusual dimensions for the time, with uncluttered side passageways and a very elegant bow sunbathing area. The interior is also spacious and the elegant use of moulded and solid wood results in a warm and cosy atmosphere. Water and fuel capacities allow for long stays on board. The Clipper version has always been the highest quality and most luxurious of the Bénéteau ranges. The Bilbilis 1º, the unit on offer, had a first and ephemeral owner and from very early on was in the hands of its current owners, who have cared for it with affection. To be perfect, she would only need a polishing of the deck and bulwarks. Because the engine, or any other equipment on board, everything is clean and cared for. Sails are average and the main is a bit worn out. There is a lively community of owners of this model, who keep in touch via the internet, exchanging experiences, impressions and advice.
