The Solveig is a beautiful classic Swedish-built cruiser that combines the practicality of a fibreglass hull with the elegance and warmth of a wooden deck. This construction technique was very popular until the 1980s, when shipyards in northern Europe, particularly in Sweden, were very successful. Her hull lines show a wide keel and a modern looking suspended rudder. All this makes for a reduced wetted surface and good performances outcome. Her current owner has taken great care of her, replacing all equipment that could be considered outdated with more modern alternatives, but without detracting from the boat's original appearance. Today, the Solveig is ready to set sail on whatever programme her new owner has in mind, adding a touch of elegance that is increasingly rare to see nowadays. Her asking price takes no account on how much her owner invested to up-date her.
