In 2014, Dufour Yachts unveiled the new D 560 Grand’Large, designed by Italian Studio Felci, with the aim of setting new standards in its sector: luxury cruisers suitable for owner and charter use. The new model is presented with specifications in line with modern boats of this length, although with important nuances that result in surprising and almost sensational performance. Equipped with a very wide beam, which is essential nowadays, the 560 GL also has a slim bow, but one that does not compromise the overall buoyancy, and a 2.5-metre keel that gives it great righting moment and the ability to support a significant, yet not excessive, rig that is easy to handle. The D 560 is a very spacious and habitable boat, with capacity for five cabins, like this unit, while at the same time offering high performance with reduced heel and a great feeling of safety and control. The atmosphere below deck is very spacious, even in this version, and the saloon and galley area offers plenty of separate but not distant relaxation and work areas. The finishes are good, embellished by details such as steel plates with the shipyard's name on each cabin threshold and the name repeated on the deck winches. This unit is in excellent condition. It has been used for crewed charter and has been constantly maintained by professional teams, with the replacement by new stuff of every equipment not working correctly. It is undoubtedly ready to continue on this course, or to serve as a luxurious owner's yacht for family and friends.
