Ten years ago, shortly before closing its doors, the shipyard of Vicente Belliure and his sons attempted a return to the world of sailing yachts, reinterpreting the largest model of what had been its successful range of the 1980s: the Belliure 50. Modernised by Íñigo Toledo, the new arrival harmoniously blended the classic lines of its hull, with a clipper bow and significant displacement, with a deck that, without renouncing several typical details of Vicente Belliure's designs, such as the profusion of quality teak, the flush area in front of the mast and the short and, in this case, lowered dog-house, also presented important nods to modern use, such as the spacious cockpit, with long benches and a manoeuvring area concentrated around the helmsman. Comfort of use, whether at sea or at anchor, is assured and the opening stern, with a folding door, minimises the impact of the high freeboard when bathing in the sea. Below deck, the layout was to the owner's taste. In the first and only unit built, the owner opted for a three cabins and two bathrooms lay-oyut, the aft head very cleverly placed between the two cabins to offer the greatest possible privacy. The dinette benefits from modern structural technologies, for ample light and ventilation from a roof with multiple openings. The open plan galley is located forward of the saloon and a short corridor leads to the good sized master cabin with an ensuite. The excellent workmanship of what was once the best Spanish shipyard is evident throughout, combined with a modern design without stridency. The engine room, placed under the saloon in a central position, is easy to access and reduces the noise in the rest areas during navigation. The boat is in excellent condition and ready to sail.
